About Maya Grill

The Ancient Mayans were known for their skillful craftsmanship.  They obtained or produced their food through a host of strategies, such as hunting, foraging, and large-scale agricultural production.  Their cuisine was varied and extensive.  Although some of the influences are still retained, this kind of food in the Mexican cuisine is now known as pre-Hispanic cuisine or comida prehispánica, which is considered to be a rather exotic cuisine in Mexico.

Maya Grill, in Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is open for private events and dinner and offers a menu that pairs more traditional American flare with the exciting tastes of Nuevo Latino, which can be enjoyed as a laid back lunch or a musical dinner. You will be welcomed by entryways adorned with colorful murals.  Several of murals can also be found throughout the restaurant depicting the ancestral Mayans hard at work mapping the universe and mastering their trades.

Savor a selection of seafood and poultry cooked Latin and Caribbean style. Or try the sizzling beef fired over an exhibition oak and mesquite grill. Follow your entrée with one of many tempting desserts, including our Fudge Turron de Chocolate, which consists of sweet Latin dark fudge with macadamia, raisin, and pecans, served with dark chocolate sauce over coconut ice cream.
